Thank you for choosing Biblify. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, why it is collected, and how you can manage it. This policy applies to the Biblify mobile application (the "App"), which is developed and operated by Antonio Daniel ("we," "us," or "our").

By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, improve, and personalize our services.

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (optional). This is required for authentication via Firebase.
• Community Content: If you post on the "Community" feed, comment on posts, or create a public profile, we collect the text and images associated with that content. Please be aware that this information is public and visible to other users.
• AI Chat Queries: When you use "Biblify AI" or the "Live Voice" feature, the text or audio query you provide is processed to generate a response.
• Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email, and the content of your message.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: We track your daily streaks, activity calendar, and last active date to provide gamification features.
• Device Preferences: We store your reading settings (font size, theme, translation preference) locally on your device.
• Subscription Status: We collect receipt validation data from Apple to determine if you have an active "Biblify Pro" subscription. We do not view or store your credit card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Services: Authenticate your login, sync your journal entries across devices, and display community feeds.
• Power AI Features: Send your text or transcribed voice queries to third-party AI providers (OpenAI) to generate biblical answers.
• Process Subscriptions: Verify your "Pro" status to unlock premium features.
• Ensure Safety: Monitor User Generated Content to filter out objectionable material (hate speech, nudity, bullying) in accordance with our community guidelines.
• Improve the App: Analyze crash reports and usage trends to fix bugs and enhance performance.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the trusted third-party services necessary to operate the App:

• Google Firebase (Cloud): We use Google’s secure cloud infrastructure to store your user profile, community posts, comments, and journal entries.
• OpenAI (AI Chat): When you ask the AI a question, the text of that question is sent to OpenAI's API to generate a response. We do not use your personal data to train OpenAI’s models.
• Apple (Payments & Voice): Payments are processed by the Apple App Store. Voice data for "Live Overlay" is processed on-device or via Apple servers in accordance with Apple’s privacy standards.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

6. User Generated Content & Safety

Biblify includes a community feature where you can post content.

• Public Visibility: Any content you post to the Community Feed is public. Do not post sensitive personal information.
• Zero Tolerance Policy: We have zero tolerance for objectionable content. We reserve the right to remove any content and ban any user who posts hate speech, nudity, violence, or harassment.
