Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Biblify mobile application operated by Antonio Daniel.

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This is a legally binding agreement between you and Antonio Daniel (trading as Biblify). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Service, you agree that we can collect and use your information in accordance with that policy.

3. User Accounts

  • Account Creation: To access features like the Community, Journal, and Cloud Sync, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.

4. Community Guidelines & Content

Our Service includes community features that allow users to post content ("User Content") visible to others. To ensure a safe environment, you agree to the following strict rules:

  • Zero Tolerance: You may not post content that is offensive, hateful, defamatory, pornographic, violent, bullying, or illegal.
  • Enforcement: We reserve the right to remove any content and permanently ban any user who violates these guidelines, without prior notice.
  • Reporting: Users can report objectionable content within the App. We will review reported content within 24 hours and take appropriate action.
  • Ownership: You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to display it within the Service.

5. AI Features Disclaimer

Biblify includes Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, including "Biblify AI" and "Live Voice Mode," powered by third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI).

  • Accuracy: AI models may occasionally generate incorrect, misleading, or historically inaccurate information. You should verify important biblical or theological information against a standard Bible translation.
  • No Professional Advice: The AI provides spiritual guidance only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health, medical, or legal advice.

6. Subscriptions (Biblify Pro)

  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Antonio Daniel. The Service is protected by copyright and other laws of Australia and foreign countries.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service utilizes third-party infrastructure to function:

  • Firebase (Google): For authentication and database storage.
  • OpenAI: For processing AI chat queries.
  • Apple: For payment processing and speech recognition.

Your use of these services is also subject to their respective Terms of Service.

9. Disclaimer & Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, be secure, or be available at any particular time or location.

In no event shall Antonio Daniel, nor his directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service or any content generated by the AI features.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
